Venice Access fee Tax 2026
Pay the Venice city Access fee.
From April 2026, day visitors to the historic city of Venice must book and pay the Venice Access Ticket fee, valid from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on specific dates. Book at least 4 days in advance and pay €5 instead of €10. Exempt visitors must register (see full description).

- The amount for the Venice Access Contribution is fixed and valid for one day.
- For the year 2026, the Access Contribution will NOT be applied to the smaller islands.
- Children and teenagers up to 14 years old can access for free.

April 2026: 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
May 2026: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31
June 2026: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28
July 2026: 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26
The contribution is not required from 4:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
To obtain an exemption, registration is required, along with the acquisition of the related exemption voucher.

Residents of the Veneto Region are exempt from payment and do not need to obtain any exemption voucher. It is sufficient to show a document proving their status.
Minors under the age of 14 are exempt from payment. If their age is not immediately apparent, proof can be provided by presenting a document. Holders of the European Disability Card (Disability Card) and their accompanying person are also eligible for exemption by presenting the card, without the need for registration on the portal.
